How Do I Connect Gigabyte Z77X Motherboard to Corsair Case with 20 Pin

Posted by S Lam on

This is a life example of how our buyer use our items. All the info and photos are originated from our buyer.

Connector A:

  • Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H Motherboard

Connector B:

  • Corsair Crystal 587 Case

  • I purchased this cable to resolve an issue where my motherboard had only a 9-pin connector for USB external connection. The case I recently purchased had a built in 20 pin cable for the outside USB ports on the case. On my motherboard, I not only had a 9pin 2.0 USB connection but also a 9 Pin 3.0 USB connection. This cable is suggested for a USB 2.0 connection on a motherboard but I found that it also worked on the USB 3.0 9 pin connection very well. This is a superior product that is well made and resolved the issue with being able to use the front USB ports on my case. I am very pleased with this product sold by Wavertec. I will always look at their accessories prior to making purchases in the future.
